Regain tester Branca 70 is a semi-automatic oven-drying tester to dry up fibers and yarns to calculate regain, humidity and commercial weight of textile material

vano-di-essiccazione-regain-tester The oven-drying tester is designed to measure the exact moisture content (%) and regain of textile fiber materials.

The warm air inlet inside the drying chamber under a temperature close-control at 105 ± 1°C, duly filtered, crosses perpendicularly the specimen by means of a calibrated airflow settable through an hand-operated damper.
The air is heated up by heaters commanded under PID control with a temperature range from 50 °C up to 140°C with tolerance performances of ± 1 °C.

Regain tester Branca 70 is user-friendly.

After the initial settings, Regain tester Branca 70 starts immediately the drying cycles on fiber samples.
At the end of each drying, the operator hangs up the chain of the basket under the electronic scale hook to allow the measuring of the latest dried weight.

An 5" HMI Touch Screen is the user interface selected for the operator management

All saved results are stored on memory or outputted in hard copy with ASCII printer.

Regain tester Branca 70 can transfer all data to and ext. PC through the software BRT4.0.
PC collects all significant data achieving each dry weight updating ongoing analyses and updating trend on oven-drying process.

The application software BRT4.0 helps to output a full report with all results as e.g. samples information, drying time, measured dry weights, moisture content, regain and commercial mass and correction to add or subtract in % to the gross weight in relation to the lot of material.

The power supply of the oven is a 3-Phases + Neutral + Protection conductor. Any different electrical feedings about nominal voltage or frequency must be communicated in advance.
