Air permeability tester 37SC is built and designed to measure the exact rate of determined flow of air that pass perpendicularly across a fabric sample

As per model BAP 37S, the new air permeability tester 37SC measures the exact air permeability of all type of fabrics

The redesign of air permeability tester 37S in 37SC gives a new and improved form.

Reliability, repeatability and reproducibility thanks to attention given to the internal frame with double-volume that separates power thermal loads components from precision sensors without affecting them.

Physical testing laboratories, merceological laboratories, textile finishing and textile products quality control are main applications where air permeability tester is used.

The tests must be carried out by operators inside conditioned rooms in compliance with norm ISO 139:2011 as described in Standard UNI EN ISO 9237:97 and ASTM D-737 and others.

Composed of floor standing unit with wheels comfortable to operate and to move easily in laboratory and production areas.

Innovative air permeability tester function allows to measure rapidly several points of the sample saving data on memory, getting full test report of stored data, thus verifying its uniformity of air passage that allows operator to improve better quality adjusting thermal processing in finishing areas.

After settings, user starts air permeability tests on touch screen by means of command function keys for user management to control pressure drop, analyzing test monitor and savings.
Fine adjustment on pressure drop is manual or automatic by means of electronic elemnts in the air circuit.

A) The suction is powered from innovative ultra-silent vacuum unitwith noise level lower than 40 dB installed inside the tester.

B) Thanks to QUICK CHECK function operator sees immediately instant and average values of air permeability after few seconds also testing very low permeability samples;

C) Pressure drop control can be both manual or automatic

D) Electro-mechanical clamping system with activation switch ideal for ASTM D-737, where flanges always same clampling force not exceeding 50 5 N.

How to peform tester calibration?

Air permeability tester 37SC includes calibration check plate to do periodical checks of correct measuring by sensor readings. On request tester calibration check plate can be supplied with copy of conformity certificate.

With thicker samples up to 1 cm or more, special cover sleeve with requested area (cm2) can be applied on original test area.

Air permeability tester 37SC is designed to support roll of materials to slide on test area to verify its uniformity.

Test area reduction flanges of 50, 20, 10, 5, 2 cm2 are arranged together with tester and used in correlation to Reference Standard; on request auxiliary test area of 38 cm2 is used in test performances under pressure drop set at 125 Pa in compliance with Standard ASTM D-737.

1) ASCII Printer: once test is ended, user can print test results on paper report thanks to auxiliary ASCII printer available in both impact or thermal models. Inside test listing report are shown following information:
