Branca Air permeability 37S measures the exact air permeability of all types of fabrics

Air Permeability 37S measures the speed of an air flow that crosses perpendicularly through a specimen of fabric or other material with known area and differential pressure in compliance with UNI EN ISO 9237:97, ASTM D-737 or other international standards

Designed by Branca Idealair to do tests on various types of samples including garments and industrial fabrics, for technical use, nonwovens, automotive materials, downproof, filtration materials, felts, paper etc.

The parameter air permeability is fundamental to enhance the quality of fabrics in production and in the finishing of fabrics itself

Once having set up test parameters as test area (cm²) and pressure differential (Pa) the operator can immediately start running a test.

Air permeability tester 37S is operated through a user-friendly 5" Touch Screen as visual interface for operator management, test monitoring, results saving and other functions.

Pressure drop regulation (Pa) is performed manually through valves calibrated with external handles or automatically through a special PID control system.

To test thicker samples over 1 cm, a suitable ring type cover flange must be applied during the tests to avoid any air leakages from the sides of test area.

A calibration check plate allows verifying at any time the correct calibration of air permeability 37S sensors as requested by the standard UNI EN ISO 9237:97 and ASTM D-737.

The results can be saved on internal memory in the measure unit as listed below:
