Branca Idealair holds an own conditioned laboratory at Standard Atmosphere (20 ÷ 23) ± 1 °C for temperature and (50 ÷ 65) ± 2 % for relative humidity to carry out researches and studies focused on the continuous improvement, renewal and upgrade of systems and working processes.

In 1925, the company's founder Eng. Alberto Branca, who's remembered as being very bright and inventive, began his career in the studies about Textile carried out in France and insights textile technology and microscopy (Recherche Mécaniques et physiques - Paris); after a few years he starts proposing an innovative and fully-functional model of oven drying tester for fibers known as Regain tester, the first realization manufactured in Italy; the prestige product has a big hit from textile industries and has been chosen by textile industries to define the commerical weight of textile materials as silk, wool, cotton etc.
