Cabinet for Controlled Environment Testing in Laboratories

The Cabinet is specifically designed for testing laboratories in various fields, including textile, air quality, and paper testing. It complies with established standards such as ISO 139 for textile testing, ISO 187 for paper testing, and EN 12341 for air quality measurements. These standards ensure that the testing chamber meets the necessary requirements for reliable results.

Control Ranges of the Cabinet

Below are the control ranges that can be set within the Cabinet:

  • Temperature: (18 ÷ 25) ± 0.5°C
  • Relative Humidity: (45 ÷ 65) ± 2%

Cabinet Structure and Design

The Cabinet features a robust structure composed of modular sealed panels with a thickness of 80 mm. The flooring is made of thermosetting resin, providing a durable and stable environment for testing. The design allows for the entry of one operator at a time, ensuring a focused workspace.

Optimizing the workspace includes a comfortable work desk where testing equipment can be placed securely. This layout promotes a steady and constant thermo-hygrometric environment suitable for accurate testing.

Climatic Control with Type 0 Unit

The Climatic Unit Type 0 is a modular unit designed to maintain precise climatic control. It delivers air into the environment at a low speed of 0.15 m/s, preventing turbulence and ensuring stable conditions during testing.

This user-friendly interface displays indoor and outdoor conditions, allowing operators to configure parameters easily. Users can set points for temperature and relative humidity according to standard atmosphere control ranges, and monitor alarms diagnostics.

The Cabinet is equipped with a logging function to record temperature and humidity levels. This data can be saved on the HMI Touch Screen, which can then be downloaded to a local PC or integrated into a company network.

Compliance with Standards

According to established standards, records must be obtained from independent probes (ISO 139, ISO 187, etc.). To ensure compliance, Branca Idealair provides external laboratory dataloggers, such as the Rec&Print. This solution guarantees effective data collection and storage on a server, along with trend graph visualizations and statistical evaluations.
